Sinopec awards pipeline deal to Hyundai

Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea has won a US$120m contract from Sinopec to construct three underwater pipelines transporting imported crude oil and naphtha to refineries near Shanghai. The pipelines, each 54km long, will run parallel from Cixi town in the southern part of Hangzhou Bay to Jinshan in the northern part. They should be completed by April next year.
