Sinopec to privatize refinery

Sinopec is offering US$979 million to privatize its Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical subsidiary. Investors are being offered US$1.36 per share, 12.2% up on the stock's US$1.21 November 2 closing price. Trading in the shares has been suspended pending details of the terms of privatization.
