Sinovel Wind chairman resigns

The chairman of Sinovel Wind Group (601558.SHA), Wang Yuan, has resigned after a second straight annual loss at what was once China’s largest turbine manufacturer, Bloomberg reported, citing a company filing on Monday. Wang will step down from his positions at all Sinovel units and will remain a board member, according to the statement. The departure is the second in less than two years after Han Junliang, Wang’s predecessor, resigned in March last year. Sinovel said it will select a new chairman as soon as possible. The company faces the threat of delisting.
