Sony Corp said it will invest US$200 to integrate seven China manufacturing facilities into three regional design and manufacturing platforms. The North China platform will focus on mobile equipment, the East China platform on digital video products, IT and games and the South China platform audio/video products and components. The new investment will bring Sony's cumulative China investments to US$1.1 billion.
