Spain's Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero wrapped up his three-day tour of China, during which time he held discussions with China's top leaders including President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao, state media reported. Both sides committed to foster more ties in all areas, and Zapatero and Wen oversaw the signing of a dozen agreements, including a deal for 20 Airbus A330 jets worth US$3.1bn dollars to be delivered to Air China beginning in May 2006. China also sought help from Zapatero to help the energy-starved country meet its rising fuel demand through new renewable energy sources, as Spain is a leader in developing solar and wind-energy technology.
