Steel demand likely to level off

Neville Tindale, Asia-Pacific president of Canadian engineering firm Hatch Beddows, said he believed that some production could be underutilised because of new capacity coming on stream in coming years and recent demand growth rates of 20 per cent a year being unsustainable in the medium-term.
