Beijing Capital International Airport posted a 28 per cent year-on-year increase in earnings in 2002. The company said its net profit of Yn507m was the result of strong performances from aeronautical and nonaeronautical businesses, such as retailing, catering, advertising and car parking.
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Co was expected to list on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on April 28. It hoped to raise more than Yn2.38bn to fund future expansion of Guangzhou international airport, expected to be operational by next January.
