Taiwan in considering building a bridge that will link the island to the mainland, in a further sign of warming cross-Strait relations, AFP reported. Taiwanese President Ma Ying-jeou asked Taiwn’s top economic planners to conduct a feasibility study for the bridge while visiting Kinmen, a Taiwan-controlled island group off the mainland.
