Taiwanese regulators found that 13 Taiwan-listed companies had exceeded the ceiling set by the Taiwan government for mainland investments, according to Taiwan media reports citing officials at the island's Securities and Futures Commission. Among the 13 companies were Uni-President Enterprises Corp, Chia Hsin Cement Corp and Sino-Japan International Industries Co. The companies were reportedly ordered to temporarily halt new mainland investment.
