China’s tax revenue rose 21.7 percent during the first nine
months of this year compared with a year ago, according to the State Administration of
Taxation.
Tax revenue exclusive of agricultural tax and tariffs was RMB
1.52 trillion.
The rise in taxes was attributed to improved tax collection
methods and the overall growth of China’s economy, which rose 8.5 percent year-on-year
during the first nine months, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
