Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund Temasek Holdings is one of several investors that agreed to take a stake in Chinese dairy firm Yashili International Holdings (1230.HKG), Reuters reported. Yashili’s parent China Mengniu Dairy (2319.HKG) sold down shares to meet Hong Kong listing requirements, the company said in a filing on Monday. Mengniu failed with an earlier bid to acquire enough shares to make a “compulsory acquisition” of the remaining shares and delist Yashili from the exchange. The other investors are China-focused private equity firm Hopu and three individuals.
