Terracotta Warriors' Canada tour cut short

The Royal Ontario Museum, which organized the Canadian tour of The Warrior Emperor and China’s Terracotta Warriors exhibition, has announced that the out-of-country loan to Canada of terracotta artifacts from China cannot be extended beyond one year.
The Warrior Emperor and China’s Terracotta Army has achieved record attendance levels in Toronto.
However, the Shaanxi Cultural Heritage Promotion Center in China has confirmed a one-year limit on the travel of these artifacts to all future exhibitions around the world because of the need for long-term preservation.
Auction Central News reports that the Warrior Emperor and China’s Terracotta Army will return to China after appearing at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in February 2011.
