Thailand, China seal real estate deal in Guangzhou

[photopress:Thaiactingminister.jpg,full,alignright]Thailand’s private sector is going to invest in the hotel and hospitality sector in Guangzhou City estate sector — particularly in the hotel and hospitality sector — in Guangzhou City.

Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak (seen here) and Guangzhou Vice-Mayor Wang Xiaoling witnessed the signing ceremony of a memorandum of intent between the Thai business group, led by Charoen Siriwadhanabhakdi, chairman of Thai Beverage, and a Chinese business group.

Dr. Somkid said the Thai private sector group, including the Imperial Hotel and the Dusit Thani, agreed to develop real estate, particularly hotels in Guangzhou. He said, ‘Guangzhou is a developed city and has bright prospects as it is one of China’s leading commercial and manufacturing regions.’
