Thomson Konka stake bid wins approval

In a filing with the Shenzhen stock exchange, TV maker Konka Group said its leading shareholder, Overseas Chinese Town Group, had received approval to sell a 4.82% stake in the company to Thomson, the French electronics giant. The deal gives Thomson's Thomson Investments Group arm the right to buy 29m non-tradable Konka shares.
