The Chinese Communist Party’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection is investigating three officials at the powerful National Development and Reform Commission on suspicion of “serious violations of discipline,” official lingo for corruption, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the commission. The officials in question are Wang Wei, head of NDRC’s social development unit, his deputy Ren Wei, and Zhou Heyu, a researcher at the “life quality” division.
