TNT (nothing to do with the explosive. It originally stoods for Thomas Nationwide Transport when it was started in Australia) is enhancing its service capacity between China and Europe with the addition of a new dedicated B747-400ER freighter on non-stop flights between Hong Kong and TNT’s European air hub in Belgium.
TNT is committed to investing in Asia, and Hong Kong’s geographical and economic proximity to the Pearl River Delta and its central location in Asia makes it a natural choice as a hub to serve customers in the south of China.
Eye for Transport reports it will add to TNT’s other Asian international hubs in Shanghai, Beijing and Singapore.
