Guangdong, Hunan and Hubei will work together to develop and promote inter-provincial tourist routes and products to build a uniform regional tourism brand and a barrier-free golden tourism channel by taking advantage of the high speed rail and expressway links. It is probably the rail links which have led to this semi-official, somewhat informal linkage.
The three destinations will promote tourism products to each other and to conduct joint marketing activities in other markets.
They will also accelerate the construction of a regional tourism database on their own official tourism websites, and establish a regional tourism market management cooperation liaison mechanism and a joint conference system.
The three provinces will set up improved highway signs plus new service station targeting high-end business travelers and will promote self drive routes that connect to the stations of high speed rail links.
World Countries reports that this is but the start of such co-operative ventures. High speed rail and improved highways have made travel within China a pleasure and time efficient.
