Donald Trump, the leading Republican candidate for the American presidency and a vocal critic of China, licensed his name to a tower in New Jersey funded in large part by a controversial government program – known as EB-5 – offering expedited visas to foreign investors who overwhelmingly come from China, Bloomberg reported, citing a slide presentation by the firm US Immigration Fund. Mark Giresi, general counsel of the company, said he believed nearly all of the EB-5 investors in the 50-story luxury rental apartment building known as Trump Bay Street were from China.
