[photopress:Four_Points_by_Sheraton_Daning.jpg,full,alignright]Starwood Hotels & Resorts have opened two new hotels in Shanghai: Sheraton Shanghai Hotel & Residences and Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Daning. The opening was on March 28, an auspicious ‘double prosperity’ day on the Chinese calendar.
Sheraton Shanghai Hotel & Residences in Pudong is part of the multi-purpose and euphoniously named ‘You You International Plaza Complex’ that comprises the hotel, residences, an office tower and a large retail complex.
Set in Lujiazui, the financial and trade district in Pudong, the hotel is near to the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the venue of the Shanghai World Expo in 2010. It has 525 rooms plus 141 fully serviced 1- to 3-bedroom apartments. Making 666 in all.
Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Daning is set in the Daning Life Hub complex which is an open-air, urban lifestyle concept, consisting of hotel, offices, retail, food and beverage, entertainment, culture, education and ancillary services.

Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai is in Zhabei, north of Shanghai’s central business district. It is just a few minutes walk to the subway station, close to the inner ring road and within only 15 minutes drive to the Bund, Huaihai Road and the Nanjing Road business district.
This is a MICE hotel in that there are over 1,600 square meters of meeting space including a grand ballroom and seven functions rooms. Wireless Internet is available in the public areas and in all meeting rooms.
