UK premier takes EU trade deal to Beijing

The Prime Minister of the UK, David Cameron, arrived in Beijing on Monday and will push for the European Union to begin talks with China on a full-scale trade deal, Bloomberg reported. However, EU governments are due to agree on measures to curb imports of Chinese solar panels in the 28-nation bloc’s biggest trade dispute of its kind. Cameron, who is visiting China for the first time in three years, will meet with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and will also attempt to boost UK-China trade by liberalizing trade rules and improve diplomatic relations with Beijing.
