Unicom subscriber growth slows

China Unicom said it added 1.55m new subscribers in November, bringing its user base to 11.55 million. Subscriber growth actually slipped for China's second largest fixed-line provider. October's new-subscriber count was 1.6m. The company also reported on progress in its CDMA mobile business, signing up 650,000 subscribers in November, bringing the total CDMA count to 27.16m users.
