Users of the Xiaolingtong urban wireless system are growing by 1m-1.5m a month, reported Interfax. The number of subscribers stood at 22.5m at the end of the first half of 2003 and is likely to break 30m by the end of the year, according to UTStarcom of the US, which is the largest Xiaolingtong system and terminal supplier in China.
