The Nagqu Logistics Center in construction in Tibet has an average altitude of 4,500 meters. As a result, workers involved face hypoxia and coldness.

In order to protect the workers’ life and health, a series of measures have been taken by China Construction Group, which is in charge of the project.

Three grades of insurance institutions have been established: Headquaters, Item Department and construction teams.

Workers get physical examinations before, during and after their work.

Since April, the free medical treatment has been used by over 10,000 workers with ten of them suffering from acute mountain sickness.
All have been cured, none died.
