An interesting topic of discussion concerning women and MBA funding was presented at a forum on The MBA Experience and Getting into a Business School. Some business schools offer additional financial help for women.
George Knell, associate dean of business programs at the London School of Business and Finance, said, ‘We are offering scholarships worth GBP4,000 (roughly US$7,885) to students from Malaysia. Women get GBP2,000 (US$3,943) extra.’ He also said that women make up 35% of enrolment at the business school.
