Presidents Barack Obama and Xi Jinping held phone talks on Wednesday in which the latter accepted an invitation to visit the US in September, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the White House. Obama apparently called for “swift work” to narrow the countries’ differences on cyber issues. Meanwhile, an official at the US State Department said senior US and Chinese officials will meet in August to discuss the possible repatriation of Chinese officials who have fled to the US with stolen government assets.
