China’s Xinhua News Agency will broadcast three bulletins of its daily video news program "Today News" on TV (not major news) and via the Internet (still not major news) and mobile devices (which is where it gets very interesting for this may be one major path ahead) by the end of the year. The 30-minute TV program is a modification of a special news program that Xinhua aired during the Beijing Olympic Games last summer and has operated for the past year.
The program is currently broadcast twice a day, morning and evening. Now the stakes are being raised and it is going to three times a day.
Beside television it available on some mobile devices in some areas in China.
China View says the three news bulletins of the program will be broadcasted at morning, noon and evening.
For news junkies in the right area with the right equipment this will be the way to go. It means news on the go on your mobile phone, not on your telly after you have had your evening meal.
