Yang Zhiyong, of the Chinese Academy of Social Science, on income distribution reform

Yang Zhiyong, of Chinese Academy of Social Science Institute of Finance and Trade Economics, on inequality and reforming the income distribution system:
"Improper monopolistic behavior caused by state-owned enterprises, administration and corruption has brought significant inequality. The mechanism of secondary distribution of income does not show fairness either. For instance, the welfare house distribution system still exists. Much more people have been influenced by such inequality than by the primary distribution of income. "
