Zhongguancun at CES for first time

Zhongguancun, China’s largest hi-tech zone, has introduced five innovative technologies at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

CESAt a press conference held at the electronics show (CES) in Las Vegas Zongguancun staged a first for China. For the first time a Chinese hi-tech zone had a stand to show its innolvations.
 
As the first and largest hi-tech zone in China, Zhongguancun is home to nearly 20,000 high-tech companies. 
 
Five innovative technologies, including:
Latest BlueSoleil 7.0 by IVT Corporation;
Next Generation Text Understanding/Concept Search System by Patentics;
IGRS Pervasive 3C convergence;
Digital multimedia image processing integrated circuit technologies by Vimicro International Corporation.
 
IVT Corporation, a major global supplier of Bluetooth software, showed a complete remote medical monitoring solution that allows medical monitoring from home so that if things go wrong it can be fixed quickly. This has recently been launched in China and is now going overseas.

IGRS is cloud computing under another name.
 
eBook reader by Hanvon Technology will be up against a lot of competition. Its big plus is that you can write notes. The eBook reader by Hanvon is an electronic paper-book which not only allows readers to read, but also integrates handwriting recognition with electromagnetic board input technology allowing users to also write on the device.
 
Vimicro’s innovations in parallel data processing and scene-based image processing working with ultra-low power but still with high image and video quality.
 
At CES all of this will be up against some amazing competition but this is a great start.
