25% of China water is polluted

About 25% of China's groundwater is contaminated with pollution, said the Ministry of Water Resources' chief engineer Liu Ning, according to state media. "In some areas where the ecosystem is fragile, water resources are so badly degraded it affects people's daily lives and threatens social and economic development," said Liu.
