The SOPA (Society of Publishers in Asia) 2007 Awards for Editorial Excellence were held on Wednesday night in Hong Kong, announcing winners in reporting and design categories from English- and Chinese-language newspapers and magazines (click here for a list of the night’s winners). China Economic Review won an award for "Excellence in Explanatory Reporting" for the article "Mother of invention?", our cover story from November of last year.
