Authorities began late Thursday to right a cruise ship that had capsized on the Yangtze River after divers searching the boat’s more than 200 cabins reported no signs of life, bringing the total survivors to 14 of the 456 passengers, Reuters reported, citing officials and state media. Relatives have asked the government to release the names of all survivors and the 77 people confirmed to have died so far, and are questioning why most of those rescued were crew members. Some have also demanded to know why the ship did not dock in the storm, as well as how the captain and crew had time to put on life vests but not sound any alarm.
