Bird flu virus in Qinghai

China has sent more than three million doses of bird flu vaccine to the remote western province of Qinghai after migratory birds from Southeast Asia were found dead from the H5N1 strain which can kill humans, according to state media. Poultry across Qinghai province, neighbouring Tibet and Xinjiang, were subject to a "compulsory vaccination campaign", state media reported.
