Bocom's in-house corruption sweep

Bloomberg reported that Bank of Communications, China's fifth largest bank by deposits, punished one in 20 employees in 2004 for corruption or incompetence. The agency said in a January address to employees obtained by Bloomberg yesterday, Bocom Chairman Jiang Chaoliang had spoken in one instance of 93 officials being caught in 28 separate frauds involving RMB279m.
