BP funds clean energy centre

BP, the world’s second largest oil group, is to contribute US$10m to a clean energy research centre in partnership with the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The CAS-BP China Centre is the fifth BP centre worldwide. Its headquarters will be located at the CAS Institute of Chemical Physics in Dalian, Liaoning province. Researchers from other CAS institutes as well as from Qinghua University and the Chinese University of Science and Technology will take part in the research programme.
