I see the Beijing authorities are pressuring restaurants to improve the English on their menus ahead of 2008. The FT reports that pee-soup in one menu may soon be flushed away in favor of less colorful spellings. Which reminds of one wonderful menu I spotted once which featured Hamburger on Bum, and also Crap Meat au Gratin.
