Car production slowed for a second straight month, with vehicle output rising 20%, to 216,100 units in June, as against 32% in May, the National Bureau of Statistics reported. In April, production jumped 44% over the preceding month. Car sales grew by only 5% in June, the slowest growth rate recorded in two years. One analyst said sales would not likely improve until after July, assuming banks resume issuing car loans by then.
