NYTimes.com – McDonald’s Scales Back Prices in China – McD does its bit to stimulate domestic demand in China

IHT.com – Chinese learn limits of online freedom as the filter tightens – The Chinese government is clamping down on internet freedom (again)

FT.com – China used-car dealers in top gear – Second-hand car sales appear to be picking up (slightly and from a low base) as Chinese tighten their belts. Apparently drivers like their autos fancy on the inside but conventional on the outside
