US Vice President Dick Cheney plans to visit China, according to the New York Times. Cheney's visit is scheduled to be part of a trip to Asia during which the vice president will also make stops in Japan and South Korea to discuss North Korea nuclear arms control, operations in Iraq and trade policy. The trip was first scheduled to occur in 2003, but was pushed back after the Iraq war broke out.
