The state-owned warehouse operator China Chengtong Holdings has taken a controlling stake in the financially troubled China Logistics for US$7m. The mainland-listed China Logistics is involved in warehouse management, transportation, supply chain management and integrated logistics services. The acquisition gives Chengtong a foothold in Hong Kong and a stepping-stone for possible international expansion.
