$410k – Proposed ceiling for annual salaries of top executives in China’s financial sector, according to a draft rule from the Ministry of Finance. The draft rule recommends CEOs receive US$7,300 (yes, US$7,300) to US$102,000 in basic pre-tax salary. They may also receive performance-linked pay of no more than three times the basic salary.
