China signs third cattle deal with Australian firm

Chinese agricultural group Xuzhou VV Group signed a US$4.76 million contract with Australian agricultural group Elders that will send 3,000 dairy cattle to China this year. The deal is the third between the two firms. Elders sold 2,500 cattle to Xuzhou VV in 2003 and an additional 3,000 head in March 2004. Elders� mainland subsidiary, Elders China, was also approved by Chinese regulators for a business license in China.
