Officials from China and the US concluded the 15th session of the China-US Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade (JCCT) by signing eight documents aimed at improving economic and trade ties between the two countries. The two sides also agreed to establish six working groups within the JCCT framework to focus on China's market economy status, trade remedy measures and intellectual property issues. The JCCT was jointly chaired by Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi, US Secretary of Commerce Don Evans and Trade Representative Robert Zoellick.
