Chinese airline in talks to buy Bombardier's new jet

Canadian plane maker Bombardier (BBD.B.TSE) is in talks to sell its forthcoming CSeries jetliner to China Express Airlines, Bloomberg reported, citing the head of Bombardier’s aerospace unit Guy Hachey on Monday. Entry into service of the CSeries is still planned for September 2014, Hachey said, adding that the schedule will be reassessed in the coming months. Separately, China Express has agreed to buy from Bombardier three CRJ900 jets valued at US$134 million, with options and conditional agreements possibly resulting in the carrier buying another 13 of the 90-seat planes, which would boost the deal’s value to US$733 million.
