Food industry sales reached RMB 838.3 billion (US$10.1 billion) from January to July, up 21.32% over the same period last year, China National Food Industry Association reported. An association official, speaking at the group's annual conference, said the current economic outlook suggested industry growth would continue at that pace through the year. The conference focused on food security and promoting international cooperation.
