In just over a month, undergraduates studying business or law at Xiamen University will be required to take golf lessons to prepare them for the corporate world of entertaining associates and securing business deals on the green.
“The aim is to help the students find good jobs,” said Chen Xiao, a sports professor at Xiamen. “Many Chinese business deals are clinched on golf courses.”
