Some Google services are being disrupted ahead of the 25th anniversary of the Tiananmen square crackdown on June 4, Bloomberg reported, citing data from Greatfire.org. Google features such as search, Gmail and Google Translate have been blocked in China since at least late last week. The development poses another challenge for Google in the world’s largest internet market, where it has tangled with authorities over online censorship since 2010. At the time, the company said it would no longer abide by Chinese censorship and began redirected users to its Hong Kong site.
