Hao Ping, a member of the National Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and vice education minister, said that China will make more efforts to develop more capable schoolmasters.
He said, "China still has a lot to learn from the developed countries in primary education, especially in quality-oriented schooling and in how to help children learn in a happy way.
"Over ten thousand primary and middle school headmasters are expected to receive training in the US, Europe and Japan in the coming three years."
China Daily reported the vice-minister also said more university and college presidents will also be sent to these countries and regions to help improve the quality of education and build world-class universities in China.
