Hong Kong-based media group New World Infrastructure Ltd announced
that it will cooperate with China Aerospace International Holdings Ltd to offer interactive
digital television on the mainland.
The two companies will form a JV, China Aerospace New World Technology, of which New World Infrastructure will own 51 percent. The two companies will invest as much as US$65 million in the JV's initial two years, and
will increase the investment to US$515 million if the launch proves successful.
