The soft drinks manufacturer Jinlibao has paid Yn31m to advertise in every one of the 64 World Cup matches, said China Central Television (CCTV). That works out at Yn484,000 per match.
CCTV hopes to raise Yn500m from selling advertising time during the World Cup. The most expensive slots will be during the three scheduled first-round matches involving China’s national team, which is making its first appearance in the competition.
