Sales of software and information technology products in China are forecast to reach US$25.3 billion this year, a year-on-year increase of 30%, the Ministry of Information Industry said.
Sales hit US$19.3 billion in 2003, up 45% from the previous year.
China's software exports rose to US$1.8 billion last year – 4.5 times the value of those in 2000.
